Description: "PME, Inc. prides itself in keeping all of our courses stress-free. The stress-free PALS Provider course includes the ECC 2004 guidelines published by the American Heart Association. Students who have never taken this course or have not taken PALS in several years are encouraged to sign up very early so that they have plenty of time to read and understand the most current material and algorithms in the textbook prior to the course date. The entire first day consists of a few lectures and continuous rotations encouraging hands-on practice for the student. All rotation/skill stations allow the student to practice and allows stress-free correction of mistakes by the instructor. Once rotations are completed, a question and answer session and an overview of day one is held to clarify any student concerns. On day two, all lectures and rotation/skill stations are completed. When all practice sessions are completed, the practical test is given and the student will enjoy a comprehensive and interactive Jeopardy-like game that recaps some highlights of the course. The student then finishes the day with the written test. Once the student has successfully completed the practical and written test, the student is given a PALS course completion letter, certificate and completion card on site. Your card is then good for a period of two years from the date you took the course. "
