"The course was very helpful and informative and I feel that I really understand the procedures involved necessary to perform CPR, if and when it may be necessary. The instructor was excellent!"

Instructions for Online Classes

As a suggestion, you may want to print these instructions to refer to during the registration process.

To Register for an Online Class:

  1. Select the test(s) you wish to take.
  2. Complete the payment information.
  3. Once payment has been processed, you will be sent an e-mail with more information about the online test, including your user-name and password.
NOTE: If you have previously used our on-line testing services, your user-name and password will be the same as before.

Preparing for the Test

All of our online tests include study materials. These materials should be reviewed prior to taking the test.

Many of our tests offer a pre-test as well. These pre-tests can be taken as often as you like. If the test you have purchased includes a pre-test, you will be notified in an e-mail. You will also see a link to the pre-test material when logging in.

Taking the Online Test

  1. Login to the site using the correct user name and password. Passwords are case- sensitive, so be sure to enter them correctly. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password" link in the login screen to reset.
  2. Click the "Online Classes" link, and then "My Tests". All of the online tests you have purchased will be shown.
  3. Click the "Take Test Now" link to begin the selected test.

Once you start a test, you will have a pre-determined amount of time to complete that test. The amount of time remaining is shown on each question page during the test. You must complete the test in the time allotted. If you fail to complete the test, your grade will be negatively impacted.

Based on the test, you will have a number of re-tries available (usually 3). You must pass the test by the end of the last retry. Failure to pass the test in the given number of attempts will prevent you from receiving your certificate.

Each online test provides a certificate upon passing the test. This certificate should be printed and kept on file, or given to your employer. If for any reason you lose this certificate, you can log back into the site and print another.

NOTE: If it has been more than 1 year since you took the test, you will be required to pay a small administrative fee before you can reprint your certicate.
